Jolene Boatright delivers 30+ years of tenured experience and knowledge within the hotel and hospitality industry worldwide. Her entire career has been in developing, marketing, managing, and partnering with universities, communities, associations, and corporations.
Her career started with ARAMARK Corporation in 2 divisions – both the Campus Dining Division (CDD) and then into the Conference Center Division (CCD), holding several positions, with her last position being the Director of Business Development. After making the decision to move to Richmond, VA, she took a position with KSL Resort representing 4-Star, Homestead Resort, now owned and operated by Omni Hotels and Resorts. Her last position for the past 11+ years, as Global Director of Sales for the Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI). She provided Global Sales Services for 250+ Luxury Hotels worldwide and served as the extension of the hotels to many associations and corporations providing marketing, contract negotiations, and sales.
She also had responsibility for constant and clear communications to members, reviewing financial obligations, and promoting new membership. During her time at ALHI, the organization grew from 115 members to 250+ members. The formation of JEMS Hospitality Group brings together a team of experienced and tenured staff who have backgrounds in associations, corporations, technology, marketing, sponsorship, social media, an extensive background in event and meeting planning, and membership. Her degree in Accounting and background in Culinary has assisted her in success in her career.
