Her journey began at the age of 18 when she embarked on a path in the hospitality industry as a Front Desk Agent at the Hilton Walt Disney World Village in Orlando, Florida. This early experience ignited her passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. It was in Florida that she not only honed her skills but also discovered her love for surfing, which would later become a personal pursuit.
From there, Michele’s career took her to various corners of the hospitality world, each role contributing to her impressive skill set. She was part of the opening team at the Hyatt Waikaloa in Hawaii and managed the vibrant Desire restaurant at the Sonesta Hotel on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, overseeing operations during high-profile events like Mardi Gras, the Super Bowl, and Jazz Fest. Her leadership continued to shine as she held pivotal positions at renowned properties, including Director of Banquets at Hyatt Crystal City, where she orchestrated large-scale events with precision.
Michele’s seven-year tenure at Kona Kai Resort San Diego marked a defining chapter in her career. From Convention Services Manager, she climbed the ranks to Director of Catering and ultimately, Director of Sales. During this time, she masterfully navigated the intricacies of event planning, contract negotiation, and business development, cementing her reputation as a results-driven professional. Her attention to detail and unwavering dedication to perfection led her to excel in her role and continually seek out new challenges to overcome.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Michele’s devotion to her family shines brightly. Raising three accomplished daughters, she imparts her values of hard work, honesty, and humility.
